The Order of the Dragon
The Origin
The origin of the Order of the dragon takes one back to the first Emperor of the Garlean Empire, Solus zos Galvus whom saught to conquor all lands. The mad emperor ruining any whom stood in his way and brought many tribes, peoples, and creeds to death and ruin. One such was the Orders first master a Hyur man whom went by the name of Adal'gar Zeron, the White Wolf.
Adal'gar Zeron the master behind the savage order of the White Wolf marched against the empire after it's tenth year when the former gladitor lost his family to the Empires wrath. This order forged of fighting men and women of all creed, race, and province rallied under the banner of the White Wolf.
It was in time that Adal'gar Zeron founded on a Garlean gil mining quarry and soon laid seige to it; it was there did he next leader of the order was found, a slave, a warrior slave. This Xaela warrior whoms scales were nearly rippled away from his flesh. The tips of his horns forever exposed and stained with his blood. The once gray skin now the color of the flesh of man.
It was there that the Order obtained many more warriors to the cause, one of theme being the Xaela slave; In time the White Wolf got on in aged and soon his white hair matched the name. This Elder warrior going out in Glory as he took down a Magitek tank to oppose the Empires march into the Black Shroud. It was there at the end of that battle would a second leader be named to the Order.
Taking up the mantle as head of the Order, the former slave that mined for coin now at the very tip of the would be spear to toss into the heart of the Empire would be Neltharion Zeron. The man taking up his former mentor's name for he could no longer speak his own. It was that day the White Wolf would become what all men fear. The Order of the White Wolf would take up the mantle of Dragons.
The Order of the Dragon from that glorious battle on would do everything in its power to see the Empire at odds.
The After-Math of the Calamity War
After the great calamity the order of the dragon was struck hard, the place the order called their home was brough to ruin by the great blast that as well took many of the warriors, comrades, and loved ones of the order. But stil the order struggled on. Recruiting fresh blood to any who would take up the cause and soon under the loving embrace of Gridania the Mercenary order was welcomed to live within' it's great lavender beds.
From that point on wherever the Grand Companies needed men and women to fight along side their military, the Order of the Dragon rose to join them. Being payed with Aether Crystals, Gil, lodging, or the simple things of clothes and supplies for the non-combative members of the order whom had no place to go. Refugees whom needed work, warriors without a cause. The Order of the Dragon welcomed them fully and to this day still welcome the creed, the people, and the province of any who would raise their lance in the orders name or simply offer their craft to benefit the warriors within'.
